Simon McBeath is a freelance writer and photographer who produces regular technical articles for motorsport magazines such as RACECAR ENGINEERING, and others. He is a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers. He has also written on a variety of other topics, including travel and meteorology.
He also writes technical motorsport books for Haynes Publishing. Three titles are currently available.
A joint venture with his wife Tracey Inglis was launched in 2009, a web-based photo gallery called Everley Photography where examples of a variety of images the couple have taken over the years may be found - and purchased. The archives are steadily being trawled and more and more images will appear here over time.
Simon McBeath is also the principal of The Wing Shop and SM AeRo Techniques, providing wing design and aerodynamics advisory services. Click on logos (right) for further information.
He works for the Gurston Down Hillclimb near Salisbury in Wiltshire as the Press Officer for the organising club, the British Automobile Racing Club (South Western Centre).
