Simon McBeath has specialised in motorsport technology since his writing career began in 1993, but he has also contributed to numerous publications in a variety of sectors and on a wide range of topics including
European travel, photography and meterorology.

He regularly contributes technical features, company profiles, and specialised motorsport columns, including the renowned Aerobytes series, to Racecar Engineering, the world's first and foremost technical motorsport magazine, offering insights into racecar technology, products, companies andteams. And he is also a guest contributor to Track Driver, 'where every track driver turns'!

He has contributed to other motoring and motorsport titles past and present such as Cars & Car Conversions, The Golf Plus, Startline, Speedscene, Motorsport News and In Gear Motorsport.

In addition he has contributed articles and photographs to Climber magazine on matters meteorological, on European travel by motorhome and caravan to Motoring & Leisure, Practical Caravan, Camping & Caravanning, Caravan Life, Caravan Magazine, and Camping Magazine, and on photographing clouds and weather to Photo Technique.
